Singaporean cuisine- Tze Char Stalls

I was having dinner at one of the Tze char stalls in Pasir Ris and here are some of the typical items you can find on the menu.

Sweet & Sour Fish with Mayo

Editor's note: This is one dish I'm sure Singaporeans love. Besides fish, you can order the chicken or pork versions. The meat is then battered and fried. A ladle of sweet and sour sauce made is then poured over the dish before it gets garnished with Chinese parsley and tomatoes With its sweet and sourish notes, it makes this a popular item on the menu.

Stir Fried Beef with Onions

Rojak

Editor's note: Rojak is a Malay word for Mixture. It is a traditional fruit and vegetable salad which comes with a thick and sweet peanut sauce. Rojak is made by the Chinese, the Malays and even the Indians.
When Singaporeans use the term 'Rojak' colloquially , we mean everything all mixed in.

Stir Fried Kai Lan and Mushroom

Claypot Seafood Tofu
